Congratulations on purchasing your Indian Herb Garden !!!

The following step by step instructions will tell you how to start your garden.

STEP 1 : Unpack the potting mix bags and fill all the pots with the potting mix

STEP 2 : Pour about 2 glasses or 500 ml of water in each pot in order to wet the mix

STEP 3 : Choose 1 pot and pick up the Spinach seed packet. Make 7 holes in the pot as shown below with your index finger. Make sure the holes are one cm deep and are at least one inch apart.

Sow 2 seeds and in each hole and close all the holes . Drench the pot with 3 glasses of water (750 ml )

STEP 4 :

Choose 1 pot and pick up the Methi seed packet . Make as many number holes in the pot as shown below with your index finger. Make sure the holes are one cm deep.

Sow 2 seeds and in each hole and close all the holes . Drench the pot with 3 glasses of water (750 ml )

STEP 5 :

Repeat STEP 3 for Coriander seeds.

Now that your garden is started; you should know how to take care of your plants the optimal way.

1. Water your pots, twice a day if the sun is shining bright and once a day if it’s cloudy.

2. There may be more than one plant per hole in every pot as we had sown 2 seeds in each hole. Select the strongest-looking plant in each hole and kill(uproot) the rest.

3. Maintain a weekly spray of neem oil; Add 10 ml of neem oil in 1 liter of water and mix 2-4 drops of any liquid soap (dishwasher, handwash, detergent etc ). This will ensure the oil mixes with the water. Spray this mix on the leaves of all the plants for 7 days once.

4. Put abt 5 g of garden nutrients in each pot at 10-day intervals.

Harvesting

Spinach and methi seeds will germinate in 2-3 days. However, the coriander takes 10 days to germinate. Your Indian Herb garden will be ready for harvest after 35 days from the date of sowing. You can harvest the leaves by cutting the bigger ones and leaving the smaller ones to grow. Use up to 2-3 harvest for spinach and coriander. Methi can be harvested only once by uprooting.
